Playa Norte is one of the 10 best beaches in the world, according to the Travellers Choice Awards.

When you see its white sand and calm, warm, shallow waters, you’ll understand why!

You can walk about 650 ft into the sea and still be waist-deep.

It’s a 1 km long public beach with different sections. There’s a quieter part with restaurants (not bars) that’s ideal for families.

It’s a popular beach and it can get busy in high season, but it’s also one of the widest beaches in Mexico , so you won’t feel cramped by the crowds.

Don’t miss the sunset at Playa Norte, it’s stunning. And if you’re an early bird (like me! )
